To upload one or more files to a project, follow these steps:

 

  1. From a Project page, in the Tasks table, click +ADD NEW.

  2. Drag the files that you want to translate or click Select to locate the files on your computer.

  3. Select the languages you want to translate into.

  4. If Machine translation is enabled in your project, select the provider per target language.

  5. Provide File Import Settings if required.

  6. Click OK.

 

Depending on the workflow and the target language(s) of the project, Robert will create several tasks. A task represents a file for translation into a specified target language and a workflow step. If a single file is to be translated from a source into two target languages (i.e. Spanish and Italian) and the project consists of two workflow steps (i.e. Translation and Review), it is represented by four tasks:

  • Task 1: Translation into Spanish.
  • Task 2: Review into Spanish.
  • Task 3: Translation into Italian.
  • Task 4: Review into Italian.

Tasks are presented in the Task table on a Project page where Project Managers can monitor and work with them.
